This page describes the Trimbrief website. The learning application has its own privacy notice.

The interactive desk

The flight scene, wind demonstration, answer checks and weather examples run in your browser. The landing page does not create an account, save your answers, access your microphone or send your interaction history to a learning service.

Website delivery

Your browser connects to our server to load the website, locally hosted fonts, illustrations and the aircraft scene. Delivering pages involves normal connection information, including your IP address and requested URL. The landing page does not include advertising, third-party analytics, external font services or tracking cookies.

Interactive lessons and learning progress

The public lessons under /learn/ and /de/learn/ store your exercise settings, checked answers, lesson completion and course progress in this browser’s local storage. English and German share the same lesson IDs, so switching the website language preserves your progress. This public lesson data is separate from the application’s study data. It is not sent to a Trimbrief account, learning server or analytics service.

Use “Reset this lesson” at the end of a lesson to remove that lesson’s saved answers and completion from this browser. Clearing this website’s browser data also removes its local progress. Browser privacy settings, unavailable storage or using a different browser can mean that progress is not retained. Website hosting still involves normal server connection information as described above.

The learning application

Opening the application takes you to a separate part of this site. The app stores study data on your device. Read the application privacy notice for details about offline study, backups and radio recordings.
